On Godiva

Ride a cock-horse to Banbury Cross,
To see a fine lady upon a white horse;
Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes,
And she shall have music wherever she goes

The 9 y.o.: Mom, is this song from Germany? Or England?
The Mom: It’s from England. I’ve heard that the fine lady mentioned could either be Queen Elizabeth the First with all her jewelry. Or Lady Godiva who, er, uh, rode a white horse.
The 9 y.o.: Lady Godiva? Did she make her money from chocolate and then become a Lady or was it the other way around?
