On Evil Vegetables

The Mom: Well, the good news is that this is the last of the zucchini from the garden.
The 9 y.o.: Yay! Woohoo! I’m SO not a fan of zucchini. Or radishes. Remember radishes? That was June. I. Do. Not. Like. Radishes.
The Mom: You’ve made that perfectly clear. So no more zucchini, except what we have in the freezer and now the tomatoes and corn are coming in for August.
The 9 y.o.: Tomatoes are just confusing. Am I eating a fruit or vegetable? And corn? Corn is the new zucchini.
