The 8 y.o.: I’m hungry.
The Mom: Someone broke your legs? Go to the kitchen, grab a piece of fruit and glass of water.
The 8 y.o.: But it’s dark in the kitchen.
The Mom: And you’re scared of the dark now? Why?
The 8 y.o.: Murderers.
The Mom: Because there’s been so many murderers lurking about in our house?
The 8 y.o.: Nope. But I’m getting my flashlight just in case…
