The 13 y.o.: I figured out why Spain was neutral during World War 1. Fascism. Which I learned was where the rich people stay in control as the country turns socialist. Like if the Republicans win the next election in the US.
The 9 y.o.: What was World War 1?
The 13 y.o.: It was like World War 2, but smaller. And without the special effects.
