My children have asked for ‘traditional British’ food this week for dinner as they are half-English. Rather than subject them to Liver and Onions with Gooseberry Pie, I’ve gone with comfort food that British children eat for tea (which is also known as supper, not the formal afternoon ‘high tea’ sandwiches and scones that Americans associate with the British)
