On Polar Bears

The 5 y.o.: Dad. I can’t sleep in my bed because I’m scared of the polar bear in my closet who will eat me as soon as I fall asleep.
The Dad: Polar bears eat penguins, not little girls. And as long as you’re not harboring any penguin fugatives in your bed, I think you’ll be fine.
The 5 y.o.: Well, just to be safe, I should probably sleep in your bed. With mommy. YOU can sleep in here, k?
