Straight-talk advice on marriage, parenting, work and the everyday crossroads of life. From a longtime wife, mom, and marketing VP who’s been there. Welcome.

I wanted a robopup. But Nintendogs & Cats makes you check in and feed your dog every day for 35 consecutive days in real life. I didn’t want to wait that long. So I figured out that I can forward time on my Nintendo 3DS under the settings. So now it’s September for my pets. And when I get my Robopup in about an hour, I’ll reset it and bring the Robopup back to August.
