Experimental 2-Week Menu Plan

So from 6/27 – 7/10, I tried a two-week plan since kids are home for summer vacation and I could try to minimize my trips to the store. The idea was to pick from the selection of Breakfasts & Lunches w Planned Dinners. Didn’t work out v. well. Went back to traditional menu planning this week. Adding the lost weeks because I know there are a lot of people seeking menu planning inspiration 🙂

Breakfasts

  • English Muffins w Marmite and Fresh Fruit Salad
  • Eggs & Hash Browns w Sliced Tomato
  • Steel Cut Oatmeal w Dried Fruit and Pecans
  • Waffles w Fruit
  • French Toast
  • Breakfast Burrito
  • Banana or Chocolate Chip Pancakes
  • Toast w Almond Butter & Jam
  • Carnation Instant Breakfast Drink

Lunches

  • Sandwiches (PBJ, Ham & Jarlsberg, Turkey)
  • Quesadillas (Canned Tuna or Chicken + Salsa)
  • Grilled Cheese
  • Frozen Leftovers (Soup, Casserole)
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Cheese and Crackers w Fruit and Veggies
  • Yogurt & Granola w Fruit
  • Baked Potato or Sweet Potato w Smoothie
  • Tuna Salad

Dinners

Week 1

M/ Tuna Noodle Casserole. Fruit Cobbler

T/ Crunchy Fried Chicken. Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes w Gravy

W/ Breakfast for Dinner: French Toast, Bacon, Yogurt Parfait w Fruit

Th/ Carne Asada Tacos w Mexican Rice

F/ Fettuccine Alfredo, Bruschetta w Fresh Tomatoes

Sa/ Grilled Garlic-Butter Chicken w Caesar Salad

Su/ Slow-Cooker BBQ Country-Style Ribs w Buttered Carrots

 

Week 2

M/ Mac & Cheese, Peas & Lemonade

T/ BBQ Brisket, Pear Salad

W/ Dutch Pancakes, Yogurt Parfait w Fruit

Th/ Chicken Quesadillas, Mango Salsa. Ice Cream

F/ Lasagna. Garden Salad. Garlic Bread

Sa/ Grilled Cheeseburgers & Zucchini. Potato Salad.

Su/ Roast Chicken w Gravy. Cornbread Stuffing. Green Beans.
