On Ordering Birthday Cakes

The 8 y.o.: I want a milk chocolate birthday cake. With white chocolate butter cream frosting.
The Pastry Chef: What would you like on top of the cake? Is there a theme for the party?
The 8 y.o.: Well, I like horses. Can you make it so there are a herd of black and white paint pintos running across a meadow? At sunset?
The Pastry Chef: It’s a 12″ round cake.
The 8 y.o.: Ok then, scratch the meadow and make it a corral.
