Winter is a great time to cook from my pantry and food storage.

Sunday 1/23

l. BBQ Country Ribs; Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans

s. Waffle w Peanut Butter, Strawberries and Bananas 

d. Slow-Roasted Chicken w Potatoes and Vegetables, Homemade Whole Wheat Bread, Jello

Monday 1/24

b. Steel-cut Oatmeal w Dried Berries, Blanched Almonds and Brown Sugar, Milk

l. Bagel/Lox/Avocado (BLA), Chips and Mild Salsa, Tinned Peaches

s. Vanilla or Chocolate Milkshakes

d. Chicken Quesadillas (w leftover chicken), Black Beans and Rice, Apple Harvest Squares

 

Tuesday 1/25

b. Baked Eggs with Applewood Smoked Bacon and Spinach, Warm Apple Cider

l. Tuna and Beans (or St Dalfour Tinned Salad), Chopped Romaine Lettuce, Orange Slices

s. Leftover Apple Harvest Squares w Milk

d. Chicken a La King with Allemande Sauce, Brown Rice, French Green Beans, Cherry Crumble w Low-fat Whipped Cream

 

Wednesday 1/26

b. Pear Crisp, Whole Grain Waffle, Milk

l. Avocado and Green Pea Hummus (aka Kermit Puree) w Turkey Wrap, Grape Tomatoes, Pop Chips, 

s. Chocolate Pudding

d. Cracked Wheat Casserole, Peas and Carrots, Whole Wheat Roll w Butter

 

Thursday 1/27

b. Granola, Yogurt and Blueberry Parfait

l. Corn Chowder, Whole Wheat Crackers, Angel Food Cake w Strawberries

s.Cream Cheese Stuffed Celery Ribs

d. Mirin-Glazed Salmon (*make extra), Sweet Potato Bake, Steamed Snow Pea Pods

 

Friday 1/28

l. Salmon Cesar Cornets (*leftover salmon), Grape Tomatoes, Cucumber Slices, Cookies

s. Apple Slices w Honey or P’nut Butter

d. Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans, Apple Brown Betty

 

Saturday 1/29
