Menu Plan for Week of 9/5/10 – 9/11/10

Sunday

Breakfast: Oatmeal, OJ

Lunch: Peanut Butter Berrywich, Banana, Milk

Dinner: Moroccan Lemon Chicken & Jasmine Rice; Minted Blueberries with Lemon Cream

 

Monday

Breakfast: Cereal, Milk, banana

Lunch: Turkey and Black Bean Wraps, salsa, chips

Snack: Cheese and crackers

Dinner: Pressed Chicken with Yellow Squash and Tomatoes, Couscous with Olives and Lemon, Mixed Berry and Cassis Sundaes

 

Tuesday

Breakfast: Whole grain waffles, nonfat cottage cheese(or fat-free vanilla yogurt), syrup, sliced peaches

Lunch: Crunchy Asian Salad with Flatbread, Apples

Snack: Oatmeal Raisin Cookies w Milk

Dinner: Salmon Cakes with Lemon Yogurt Sauce, Zucchini and Yellow Squash with Pesto, Mixed fruit salad with mint slivers

 

Wednesday 

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs in a tortilla with shred cheese (and salsa optional), 100% fruit juice

Lunch: Roast Beef, Basil and Tomato Chutney Lavash Sandwiches, Chips, Sliced peaches

Snack: Mini Whoopie Pies and Milk

Dinner: Fish tacos w chipolte mayo, brown rice, Slaw, Honeydew Melon drizzled with honey

 

Thursday

Breakfast: Apple Crunch Bread w/ P’nut butter, milk

Lunch: California-Style Tuna Wraps, Sliced Tomatoes, Chips

Snack: Berries and Yogurt w Granola

Dinner: Moroccan-Style Potato and Egg Sandwiches; Broccoli, Bacon and Onion Salad; Mango Ginger Floats

 

Friday

Breakfast: Pancakes with berry compote, Turkey Sausage, OJ

Lunch: Chicken Salad Sandwiches with Blue Cheese, Grapes, Carrot Sticks

Snack: Cheese and Crackers

Dinner: Chick-Peas and Swiss Chard; Quinoa with Fried Onions; Coach Farm “Crème Fraîche” with Fruit

 

Saturday

Breakfast: Panera Bagel Buffet; Poached Egg

Lunch: Cuban Bean and Rice Salad; Tortilla chips and salsa

Snack: Brownies and milk

Dinner: Cucumber, Radish, and Tomato Salad with Citrus Dressing, Salmon Burgers with Ginger Mustard Mayonnaise and Nectarines, Plums, and Blueberries in Lemony Ginger Anise Syrup
